Eden Court is equipped to welcome visitors with a variety of needs as the modern building has excellent facilities. The entrance is accessible by wheelchair, with six disabled parking bays located at the front of the building (50m from the entrance) and a further two at the back (100m).

Can the conference be accessed after the registration time?
Yes, we will help you into the conference at any time through the day. We may ask you to wait until an appropriate break in the speaker’s time.
Will there be English translation?
We will have translation from Gaelic to English.
Is there a charge for parking at the venue?
There is a small charge for parking, which can be paid at the ticket machine or via RingGo.
What is the theme of the conference?
The theme is: The Social and Economic Impact of Gaelic Language and Culture in the Highlands. There will be particular focus on the economic potential of Gaelic on business and employability across the Highlands, and on
the key strategic priorities of business and the economy. This includes the use of Gaelic in businesses and social enterprises, and as an economic asset in Scotland. We aim to ensure broad participation from different sectors, bringing together keynote speakers with experience in using Gaelic to add value, benefit employability and increase economic outcomes. Stakeholders from across the Highlands, as well as international guests, will be invited to the conference in order to maximise networking opportunities.
Are dogs allowed at the conference?
Only guide dogs will be allowed in the conference.
Can I bring my own video recording equipment?
No, you are not allowed to bring your own recording equipment to the Gaelic Conference.
May I bring my own camera?
Yes, you may. However, no cameras with detachable lenses are allowed at the Gaelic Conference.
Can I bring my own food?
No open food will be allowed into the Gaelic Conference. Food will be provided at the conference.
Will there be workshops and interactive sessions?
Yes! The conference will offer panel discussions, and networking sessions, providing opportunities for attendees to actively participate and engage with speakers and fellow participants.
Is Wi-Fi available at the conference?
Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi will be provided for all attendees.

Several hotels nearby suit different budgets. The closest to Eden Court is The Waterside Hotel, just a short walk away. Other options include The Glen Mhor Hotel & Apartments and the Premier Inn Inverness Centre River Ness.

The dress code is business casual, but attendees are welcome to wear traditional Gaelic attire if they choose.
